Good Deal - Simple Yarn
Nice, little selection colors. Acrylic yarn not the scratchy, weak type that breaks. It’s soft & durable. Comes in a resealable, strong, plastic bag. Arrived on time. Good deal for the price.

Fun colors for fun projects
So many bright colors! You get 12 hefty yarn nuggets that are decent quality. I would say this yarn is great for beginners. The colors are super bright and saturated, but it’s not the best material for quality projects. The yarn is a little on the rougher side and it tends to jumble up when you’re not careful. I would say this is good yarn for fun easy projects and arts and crafts. I will be using these to make cute plushies as the bright colors are perfect for that.

Like it!
I love that yarn! Good quality and gauge. I’ve bought few sets of dark . It is really good price and I was surprised for how nice yarn was. Now I can afford to crochet and make a gift for my son’s family

Not the softest yarn
The variety of colors is great, they are a nice deep color. The skeins are quite small, so most projects would take multiple skeins. The yarn seems to be spun well, but it is not very soft at all. I haven't made anything with it yet, but will likely weave a table runner or placemats or something that is not going to be next to skin.

Soft acrylic yarn
The colors of this yarn are great, in my opinion. They're a good stash addition for things like gifts, I think, where you need something easy-care (maybe? more on washability later) and may want to work from what's on hand. It's rather soft for acrylic yarn, which is something I'm slightly picky about. Yeah, we've all suffered through the cheap brands before, and I still do when I need something cheap and rugged, but this is one of the softest acrylics I've had. It's also quite squishy and springy for acrylic yarn.It isn't plied too loosely, either, compared to a notoriously splitty and slippery yarn with "Soft" in the name, from a well-known cheap brand. Personally, I find this yarn quite easy to work with.I haven't washed it yet. I'm surprised it says to hand wash it. It's a tiny bit fuzzy, so perhaps it's to avoid pilling. If that's all it is, it will probably do okay with machine washing and air drying, but it's always safest to try it with a swatch first! I wouldn't be surprised if it machine dries well, too, based on my experience with other yarn, but I'd probably have to run something through the laundry several times before I was fully convinced. This is acrylic yarn, so set your expectations accordingly. But it certainly ranks up there with the best acrylics I've found in big box stores. I'd definitely consider ordering it again!

Looks pretty, but looks aren't everything
I know nothing about yarn except to notice how it looks and how it feels. This yarn is reasonably priced, comes in a variety of pleasing colors, and is squishy but not particularly soft. Seems fine to me, but yarn is more than looks and feels -- it's meant to be knitted or crocheted into something stylish and useful. For that, I have to defer to my wife's opinion of how this yarn compares to others when used for crochet projects. The yarn comes in 100 yd skeins. My wife used three colors to crochet a small swatch just to see how it worked. She reports that it's a bit rough on the hands, as cheap acrylic yarn tends to be. The biggest problem is that within the first 10 or so yards, the yellow was coming apart. It splits, which makes it harder to crochet. It also looks like it will pill when used. The pictures show this defect in the yellow yarn; it may only be this one skein, but one out of three does not inspire confidence in the quality of the whole lot.She wouldn't recommend this yarn for anything you would want to keep, use, or display. It's usable, but it splits and is rough on the hands. If you need an assortment of colors for kid's crafts or for other small projects this might work for you. It's pretty, but not without its problems for an experienced crocheter. The product listing does mention an unconditional refund, so that's a plus although it's unclear of how to submit a claim.

Very nice colors
These yarns are such nice colors. The yarn is also soft to the touch, not itchy. I haven’t actually used them yet, but I plan on making some hats with them for the local shelter for next winter. I may also make a few small stuffed animals or gnomes with them too for the kids. I did take some of the yarn out and wrapped it on one of my crochete needles and made a chain. The yarn seems to wrap nicely around the needle and pulls through smoothly. It didn’t fray or split, which I have found with some of the thinner weight yarn. For all the yarn you get I think it’s a good deal. I made Christmas gnomes with a similar size package of yarns and was able to make about 75 with some yarn left over. So it’s definitely a good deal depending on what you will use it for.

Nice
I got this set to get my son started with crocheting, and it worked! He likes the broad color selection. It’s a bit scratchy but not more so than any other acrylic.
