somfyRTS Transmitter with Dry Contact Inputs, 1-Channel (1810493)

This allowed me to integrate my garage door screen into my whole home Lutron lighting system so I can use my App or local controls to operate the screen.It was a simple integration. You use one contact out from your lighting system for open. One contact for close and if you really need the stop function, you use a 3rd contact out for that function.The contact is set to pulsed, but the recommended 400mS is too short. I set mine at 1 second and everything works first press.They did not tell you how to add this to your drive. It's simple, take your existing remote, press the program button on the back for about 1 second until the shade jogs up and down. Press the program button on this RTS integration box, the shade jogs again and now you have it programmed into the system.

I use these to integrate Somfy shades with our Lutron control systems. Trigger this with a QSE-IO. Only thing is each unit only controls one shade zone. Otherwise a great product

This did control the Somfy drape motor, but was not set up as the Smarthome instructions suggested- no power to go to the IO Linc. However, Somfy was terrific with their help in finding the correct place to wire the power to the circuit board.One thing.... this is packed in a very high quality 6"x4"x2.75" box. You could probably set this up in monsoon conditions outside and the controller would stay dry.... but... it's way too large for most indoor installations.

The setup with Insteon isn't as easy, but once you get it working it is quite reliable. The plastic box is huge however.
