Awesome straps
Have had these straps for a few years now and they are great. They gave frayed some on the edges over the years but I've pulled over 700lbs on deadlift with them and they are going still going strong.

Makes heavy lifts doable
These lifting straps are the best. The padding is just right, and you can tell immediately that these are high quality and durable. Made my 315lbs deadlift much easier. I will say they are pretty big (I have small hands) but when twisted an extra time, it makes no difference.

Heavy duty, trust the size chart, and bring on the PRs
I've been weight lifting for over 30 years after suffering a knee injury in the Army. This past spring I hit lifetime PRs of 500 lbs x 5 for hex bar deadlifts and 500 lbs x 5 for barbell shrugs using regular lifting straps. Losing grip even with the straps was a real issue, and I know I could have done more weight and reps. I researched my options, found out about figure 8 straps, and then researched those. When I decided to make a buy, I went with Element 26 because of the strong design, simple styling (no crazy colors or stitching designs), and solid reviews. I only made one mistake, which was to listen to reviewers who mentioned the straps being way too big. My wrists are 6.5", and the Smalls cap out at 5.8". I figured .7" was no big deal and I needed them tight. Nope. My mistake, but I followed the directions on the included postcard and emailed the company directly. I was immediately responded to by Jason, a co-founder. He sent me out a Medium, no questions asked, and they fit very snugly when used according to the video on the company site. I shrugged 345x12 without issue the first time using them, and I am excited to push the weight up after the cut cycle and blow through my 500 lb PR. Might have to buy more plates, if they can even be found!I couldn't be happier with the straps or the company. Besides the absolutely outstanding customer service and quality products, this is a veteran-owned and operated company. Doing it right, all the way!

Medium is too big for regular bars
I want to specify I can only speak for the mediums, not the smalls. The quality is excellent. But, if you're going to use the medium sized for training on an olympic bar, they're essentially useless unless you're a 6'5 300lbs+ super heavyweight with huge hands and wrists. It'll be too big to support your grip. I'm 5'6 185lbs, which is not "small" for my height, and they are drastically oversized for my wrists on an olympic bar. However, I decided to keep them because they're perfect for an axle bar deadlift, which I sometimes now throw in for variation. The bar is much thicker and regular sizes figure 8s are too small for those bars. So I just got myself a regular size pair of figure 8s for the Olympic bar and just use both if I need grip assistance now. So it worked out. I'm not sure how big of a difference the small sized ones are. But definitely do not get the mediums for Olympic bar lifts, unless you have specific exceptions for your size

Were too big, but company sent smaller pair quickly. Overall, great product once fitted.
I ordered a M after measurement. They were too big, even when tightening them as suggested. I reached out to the company and they sent smaller ones. Was very impressed with the timely response and courteous customer service. The company exceeded my expectations with how they handled my purchase. The S pair fits great. The straps work well to secure your grip on the bar for deadlifts. This helps with being able to focus more on the lift and fully engage with your muscle groups. The straps take some getting used to. It took close to three deadlifts sessions before I really found out how to optimize the straps. Would highly recommended for intermediate to advance lifters looking to update their lifting gear, or anyone who finds themselves readjusting their standard straps halfway through a lifting set.

Be sure that you understand how they want you to use these before you buy
Sizing is not right. Got a medium with wrists being 6.5" diameter and it is way way to big. They are also so bulking the multiple wraps is not feasible. They look like the perfect straps for Brian Shaw. But for the average user this is a no goEditThe element team reached out to me and sent a video of how they were designed to be used. I guess I did not pay attention to the description as I would not have ordered them had I know that is how they are intended to be used. They sent me a small but those still do not work how I would like them to either. I will stay with my old straps. Minor thing for me is I wear my Fitbit and these are so thick that they hit my watch so for those reasons I would not use these.

Wonderful product for those without strong grips!
I am relatively new to weightlifting and have a medical condition that has caused some lack of strength/fine motor skills in my right hand. I had reached a point with lifting that I just couldn’t progress because I couldn’t grip the weights/bars. I tried all the other kinds of straps and gloves, but continued to struggle- both with my grip and even just getting the straps around the bars on my own. Then I found these. The trainers at my gym and I call these the “magic straps”. I can wear my standard gloves and wrist supports with these (so no issues changing back and forth for different exercises), and easily put them on and off by myself. They hold the deadlift bar steady without issue. I’ve been using them 3-4 times a week now for several months without issue or even any signs of real wear or tear, and everyone who’s seen them asks about them and wants to try them out. I love them and will continue to buy more if these ever wear out!
