Style Name:Single Product Description 48 Element, high gain wideband UHF digital aerial with Integrated 4G filter. Frequencies used by TV Aerial transmissions and mobile phone communications, there is a greatly increased chance of unwanted interference on your TV. This interference will manifest itself on your TV sets as picture and sound breakup. The interference is caused by new 4G high speed mobile broadband signals (used by new 4G phones and transmitters), designed to increase the speed and capacity of mobile communications. These new 4G signals are going to be broadcast extremely close to existing TV aerial signals (they are actually being broadcast in the frequency space that used to be used for TV channels before Digital Switchover). This means that all existing TV aerials, splitters, amplifiers and masthead amplifiers are designed to pick up, distribute and amplify the very signals that will be the cause of this interference. Box Contains 1 x Aerial, 1 x Mast Clamp, Centre Mount and Clips

Digital TV Aerial, SLx 27884D4 4G Filtered Loft & Outdoor 48 Element Aerial for Digital TV
Arrived pretty quicklyNote that this aerial is very long. Much longer than the aerial I was replacing.I fitted this in the loft to replace my 13 year old aerial as the picture was getting a lot of interference.Easily put together and fitted into my loft. My picture quality inproved 100pct. Very happy purchaseBefore I fitted this I was not able to watch any HD tv broadcasts as the picture would constantly break up whenever a car passed by my house. Once I fitted this the picture wasclear and stableA great purchase

Great aerial.
Moved into our new house and we were getting just a few channels and none of the HD channels. We were told this was due to us being in a poor reception area. Replaced the existing aerial with this one and instantly changed our Tv. Full numbers of channels and all HD available. Would highly recommend this aerial.

The aerial was easy to assemble and direct towards the transmitter
I purchased this aerial to try to cure a ' breaking up ' picture on my kitchen TV. I fitted this aerial myself using a ' J ' clamp on the eves of my house. The aerial was easy to assemble and direct towards the transmitter. I bought his aerial as my TV transmitter is located about 25 miles from where I live and needed a long range / wideband model. The information on the packaging suggests using an ' F ' plug to connect the coax cable but on inspection .... I simply stripped back the cable and connected directly to the two screw-down terminals located on the circuit board. After setting up and rescanning my TV channels I found that the overall quality had risen by 1/3 to 99% and the signal strength improved to a stable 70% resulting in a much improved picture. To sum up .... For the price I found this aerial to be well made / easy to fit and cured the problem I had.

Easy and Good!
Super easy to assemble and install. Did not realise how much difference a new aerial would make versus our 25 year old aerial!! Visibly a more crisp and clear picture, like pretty much every channel is in HD! Quick retune after installation, happy days!!

... is a vertical orientation I'm sure this aerial works fine. But if your signal is horizontal
If your signal is a vertical orientation I'm sure this aerial works fine. But if your signal is horizontal, forget it. Unfortunately mine is the latter, put it up, signal / picture fine until the next rainfall, everything gone. What happens is the terminal box easily fills up with rain water and stops connection. At first I thought I had done something wrong, went back up brought the aerial down, dried out the terminal connections, checked the cable route followed the instructions. I even added silicon round about the box in an attempt to increase its waterproof capabilities. Everything was fine until, you guessed it, rain !!!.. Signal gone, same reason. This time the aerial is going to have to stay up there, because it is a summer house and I will attack it again next season. I believe it might be, water manages to track down where the blades of the collector meet and enter the box. No !!! what am I thinking of, just spend another £20 - £30 and buy an aerial that works. To design an aerial that can't handle both signal orientations due to weather conditions, is just pants.

EXCELLENT MONEY SAVING AERIAL
SAVED ME A FORTUNE WHEN WE MOVED HOUSE AND DIDN'T WANT THE EXPENSE OF AN OUTDOOR AERIAL. WASN'T SURE IF WE WOULD GET AWAY WITH BUT THOUGHT WE'D HAVE A GO AS NOT TOO EXPENSIVE.IT WORKS A TREAT - NO COMPLAINTS!!

High gain aerial
Bit fiddly to assemble. The construction is very light and quite delicate and needs to be handled with care. Picture quality good after installation on the roof.
