Kreg has great products and you can't go wrong with it. This Jig works really well and the handle grip is super helpful. My one issue is that there's no 1" depth adjustment to it, which I really needed for a project. It says you can use the 3/4 for it, but it's definitely not the same.

I used Kreg pocket joinery 14 years ago to build all my kitchen cabinets for new custom built home we designed and built.Now I am modifying a number of cabinets and 42 new style replacement cabinet doors and drawer fronts.This almost 40% faster than original Kreg fixture.

The jigs works as expected and the pockets holes are perfect every time. My chief complaint is that the plastic base and handle just feel flimsy in my hands

I added this to my Kreg arsenal thinking it would make life easier than pulling down and setting up my original Kreg Jig. It's OK, but nothing special. It comes in handy for unwieldy pieces that I need to drill and to use as a portable jig, but for most of my drilling I still use my original Kreg Jig. I also found that the release lever tends to stick and I have to pull the gripper apart by hand. Also, it does not come with any sort of hold down so using on a bench is very frustrating. You have to add/buy the extra hold down clamp. Fortunately it was on sale, but all in all, I wouldn't buy it again.
