You can drop the whole flask over it and it won't smell a thing. I bought other scents from different brands and the result was the same. You can smell it in the flask and think that it will give your car an amazing smell but... nope. I believe that newer the car the worse it will work. The scent of a new car is too strong. I was so mad about it that I just poured the liquid all over and... nothing.I kept it but will never try to use scents in my car again.

The item is exactly as described and it works great as a simple way to use essential oils in my car. The closure that holds the felt pad is both easy to open, with a finger nail, and stays tightly closed.Switching oils between them is a bit of a pain since it involves different pads. I may likely get two more of these so I can just swap the device. They are small enough that having a few in my arm rest storage isn't an issue...Great product

I put two drops of Tangerine oil on one side, and two drops on the other side of the felt. Then every time I turned on the car and the vents started blowing air, I got a nice breeze of tangerine. It will not give continuous smell to the whole car, but my daughter in the backseat said she could smell it. I mostly smell it when first starting the car. One application seems to last about 2 days. It's a nice little treat for one's self.

I was surprised that the cover flips open instead of separating completely. This is handy if I want to add a couple more drops of oil to the pad without removing the diffuser from my vent. Especially since the bars on my vents are wider than most cars I've owned, which I didn't realize until I tried to put the diffuser on them. Luckily, the top part of the clamps are metal and I was able to bend them outward enough to attach it to the vent. I'm very satisfied with this purchase!!

Much nicer than I expected! I thought it would be cheap plastic, but it's heavier. I purchased some essential oils to put on the felt pad. It's been a week and it still smells really nice. I love this tree too! It's my signature art. I have it on everything I can!

I love this! I was skeptical it would keep the scent for very long but I'm going on 2 weeks and I can still smell it in my car. I would suggest using 3 drops of a good balance of top, middle, and base notes. I will say, it works best when the heater is on and not the AC. Warm air seems to activate it better. Clip is sturdy.

I was starting to hate my commute & looking for some ways to make it more bearable. This little gadget, along with the essential oils I ordered definitely help my car to be more pleasant and zen-like.

Had to buy this when I saw it in my friends's car. Love that I can use my own oils. Jfyi, don't use too much oil! A little goes a long way!

Nothing to dislike.After experimenting with a few of these. I have found using a really good quality of essential oil is nessesary to use as the smell stays around the longest. But you must also understand that because it's activated mostly by heat heat does also dry things out..... So be prepared that you will need to top up the oil as it dries up.Also having you gauge set for head not just feet will also make the smell more activated.I used quite alot of French essential oil on the felt tab (I soaked the thing in it... 😊) and it lasted just over a month.I would get them again and recommend them. 😊
