Works well to use in vegan cheese recipes.

I use this product to make vegan cheese out of cashews tapioca starch and other flavors and everybody loves it. It is meltable and yet is from when it is room temperature or cold. If you use too much can be very solid and even rubbery. so just use less if you get that result. I like to use just enough so I am not wasting the product

But it tastes horrible. It’s not refined so expect a fishy seaweed flavor . I had to ask for a refund tbh

If you are switching from gelatine it will take some practice runs to figure out how this works. Not the same process. Overall it works well and does not have any strange tastes. Overall, decent gelatine replacement.

I bought this brand in 2018. It made perfect vegan cheese. I ordered the same product again. First batch of cheese with this last order has a strong fishy smell and taste. My cheese is ruined. As is the lasagna I made with it. I don't know what's changed but I'm out almost 30 bucks. No returns.

I think this is great value for the money. I used this in cooking to thicken gravy and also tested it in making a cheese sauce. It was perfect. A little goes a long way and you can continue adding as needed. It did not effect flavor in any way or smell. I would recommend mixing with a little milk or whatever liquid prior to adding, to prevent lumps. I love it and will purchase again for sure.
