Works great. Only drawback is it works anywhere in the house (not a very big house). Daughter keeps scaring me!

Works GREAT with original singing machine. Hope it holds up! It is actually louder than the plugged mic.UPDATE 8/2018: Still working great. One of the wire connections came loose and I had to solder it back in place, the mic cover doesn't screw on tight and will come off. It goes through 9v batteries pretty quick so had to stock up. STILL PLEASED with the mic, you cannot beat the price. It is used weekly, if not daily! Distance from the receiver isn't a problem because it's in the same room and close by the mic. Really like the cordless over a corded mic.

For the price of the microphone it works and performs well. My issue is with the battery compartment. The end cap that houses the battery has threads on two sides so it comes off easily while in use. Performance wise it is good.

This thing barely works - super quiet and you can't get more than a few feet away from the speaker or it stops working - plus the quality is very poor of the sound. Was pretty disappointing but for the price it's expected. If you want something that works better, you'll have to spend more.

Put new batteries in...lasted about two karaoke songs. The handheld’s threading is very fragile and potentially make battery contact less than ideal. The mic and receiver use a great amount of battery life quickly. However, in those first moments... it works well. As a consumer, it is a bad investment as the cost of maintaining 9v batteries can add up quickly. As a mom, the prospect of not having excessive cords around a child is a great concept and why we purchased this kit. This consumer grade mic with an astounding amount of white noise and this is your indicator of the batteries needing to be changed. Take this review for what it is as you weigh your options and invest. Yes, I’ll buy wirless mic and receiver again but as I do so, I will search for a higher quality dynamic mic in hopes of it being able to take a beating (in a child’s hand) and battery life last more than two songs

Great mic for the value, only problem is the adaptor is a bit big and may get in the way. Overall it's great product.

Microphone works fine, but you can only use one at a time. I bought two hoping to duet (my wife and I do a mean "Islands in the Stream"), but one mic cancels the other out when they are both on. The battery life isn't great, either. All in all, I can't recommend this product.
