Excellent signal reception and no cut outs
This antenna has to be one of the BEST!!! It is small and very easy to install. At first, I did not use the AC charger and splitter that came with it and connected the Antenna directly to a signal amplifier box that I had in the attic. The TVs did not pick up all the channels at first.Once I connected the antenna to splitter and AC charger, the red light on Antenna dome came on, and then the channel search was perfect on every TV and all station pictures were great with no cut outs. I have five TVs hooked up to this Antenna and all work great. The digital picture quality is not as good as the cable, but that could not be expected from over the air signals.

Worth the $$
Works great! I now get more channels with this powered antenna and the picture quality is much better. It’s great not to have to point an antenna. Highly recommended!!

Not as good as cheap indoor antenna
I’m in the burbs - maybe 30 miles from transmitters closer to downtown. I get 46 channels of varying quality using a thin plastic antenna I’ve had dangling from my blinds for far too long. This antenna looked like something I wouldn’t be ashamed to have on the outside of my house and, even with mixed reviews, bought it. I installed it without issue, but now I get 42 channels and most of them are unwatchable. For me, it was a tremendous waste of money. If you’re close to the towers, I bet this works just as well as an indoor one for you. If you’re in the suburbs, this probably is going to be worse for you. Disappointed.

Works pretty well
I waited a few week to do this review. I have tried a few HD tv antennas, with not much success. This antenna is working pretty well. I am not sure it will pick up stations as far away as they say, but it is working for 30 miles or so on most of out local stations. The stations that are in a city 69 miles away are not coming it. Atmospheric conditions do effect it at times and you loose all the stations. But it does better then all the others I have tried, so I rated it well.

The amplifier has to be unplugged once a day
I had this amplifier at my previous house and had great reception. I purchased one for my new home. It worked once then I bought some new short cables for final confirmation and it never worked again. Today I moved the amplifier into my bedroom and it started working again. Tonight it started to drag and then went completely out. I unplugged the amplifier. Waited 10 seconds plugged it back in and it instantly started working. The directions say I should only use the included amp. I don’t see a way to purchase just the amp. Very disappointed after having great reception from the first one purchased

Great option for receiving local channels, excellent picture, typical issues with exterior install
Putting aside the usual issues one might expect of finding an outdoor location to install this at (chimney), climbing ladders, and running the coax cable through the wall and across the basement up through the floor to the TV, this is a great value for the money. It's a small unit, not an eyesore like those big metal spacecraft-looking antennas. It came with a bracket to attach to a wall or in my case, the chimney, though I used Tapcon screws instead of the plastic concrete anchors which came with the unit because I didn't want to damage the red brick chimney any more than necessary. Affixing the domed "floodlight" shaped unit to the bracket was super easy — even at 30' up on a ladder. I tested it first inside the house placing it by a window and it pulled in many channels. Outside and up high, the reception is even better. Picture generally comes in very clear. No pixellation so far. Just like the cable TV picture quality. I don't know what the little down arrow on the unit indicates, since it is omnidirectional. I pointed it toward the city where my most desired station is, which is about 37 miles away as the crow flies, and to the southeast of my location. But I receive an affiliate channel to the north-northeast instead. I have a Sony Bravia smart TV and scanning was easy. I get about sixty channels, most of which I'll never watch. But I do receive the two primary local channels I like. Those, and with the Prime, Britbox, and Netflix subscriptions I have, I feel pretty comfortable getting rid of the Comcast programming and reducing my account to Internet-only. If you're physically capable of doing the installation part, this is a very inexpensive solution which worked for me. I'd first bought one of those thin black plastic sheet antennas for indoor use — which worked well — but my partner vetoed it because it looked stupid stuck up on the wall or window.

Nice and compact antenna receives 72 more stations!
This antenna is great and pays for itself in one month after dropping cable TV! I had been using an indoors antenna but it sometimes gave us spotty reception. It comes with everything I needed, including the mounting hardware, cable, and tacks for attaching the cable under the eaves. We are 45 miles from TV broadcast antennas in a major market and with our old indoor antenna we could get around 100 channels, but now with this one, we get 172 channels. I installed it under my eaves and found that putting it upside down gave me a clearer angle toward the broadcast antennas.
