Good shouler strap, but definitely sized for a large duffel bag
I recommend this strap. Good material and well-reinforced sewing is comforting. The strap is long enough for a duffel bag, but too long for a messenger bag.

Nice strap
I can't comment on the strength of the buckles since I'm not using it for it's intended purposes but nice canvas strap. Soft yet sturdy.

A real help with my 42X25 duffel bags. These straps solve the lift and carry problem.
I bought two big (42X25) canvass duffel bags to store and carry all my backpacking gear. But the duffels only had canvas handles sewn on. I quickly found out that they are a bear to carry through an airport with no easy way to get a grip on a bag that size packed with 50-60 lbs of gear. The duffels have metal rings to attach a strap but did not come with one. So, I ordered these straps and that solved the problem. Now I can carry the bags a lot easier.

Clips pop off frequently
Bought this strap to attach to a 5 gallon bucket with eye hooks to carry over my shoulder. Overall works pretty well, but a little disappointed that the clips pop off quite frequently. There is nothing that actually "Closes the loop" of the strap's hook except for a flimsy piece of metal that pops off quite a bit. Other than that it seems like it will hold up and not too bad for the price!

Good Strap
Great strap. Love the old military vibe. Got this to use with a Tuff Possum Gear General Purpose Pouch, and it works great. Looks cool, seems like good construction, and it's comfortable.

Perfect for Polish Bread Bag
I purchased a Polish bread bag that didn’t have the original strap. I bought this as a replacement and it works great!

Heavy duty quality but does not match the 'matching' duffle bag in colour
The Amazon listing for: Stansport 1230 Deluxe Duffel Bag with Zipper, Olive Green, at one time, suggested buying this shoulder strap(Olive Drab Colour) but the Amazon listings have since been edited because the colours do not actually match. It would be nice if Stansport could get their colour schemes together or even better, include a matching shoulder strap with the duffle bag in the first place. In the end, who cares? The quality is very good and both the bag and strap should last many years. I do find it odd to be forced to buy a duffle bag separate from a shoulder strap.
