Orbic Slim - Factory Unlocked Phone - Retail Packaging (Silver)

This phone is pretty good but I gave it four stars because it has more good things about it than bad things.The camera is beautiful and catches a lot of detail, but it's very slow to open and to take a picture. The memory is huge, I download tons of pictures and still have room for Netflix, Reddit, Tumblr and facebook and other apps at the same time. Battery is pretty good, can go about 12 hours without having to charge it but the whole system is kind of slow, as in pages take a few seconds before opening when they really shouldn't.

This is an update to my previous review, of which I've lowered my rating from 5 to 2 stars. It's been a year since Orbic advertised that their phones are OTA to Marshmallow. Not only are they not upgradeable now a year later, they've not provided a roadmap nor timing. Clearly this is not happening for this phone. Learning lesson here, don't advertise a significant feature that a device does not have. I recommend shopping for another device.Very Impressed. I purchased a couple of these. I paid $124. Customer service was responsive to my questions both calling and email. No Apple store to run to with problems, but also did not have to drop $600 for a new phone. I did some research before buying and for a sub $200 Android, this has a decent processor /GPU combo. Also, the skin is decent. Better than the bloatware on my other BLU and HTC phones. The camera is ok, not great. 13MP nice but photos are often blurred with the slightest motion of the device.What really knocks it out of the park is the design and construction. This phone feels substantial. Brushed aluminum and protective glass in a phone for under $130 bucks.. Very Happy with my purchase. I'll continue to update as I run it through day to day activities. Only caution is while it has a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and Mali-T720 GPU, it is still only 1 GB of ram, so you will see it stutter and warm up a bit when running it hard, but compared to the BLU Vivo 5 I bought and returned, this phone runs the OS well.

Decided to try an unlocked phone and picked this Orbic Slim, based on decent specs and good price point. I assumed it would not be up to par with the brand name phones I had been using for years, but I was surprised. This phone has everything I need! All of my apps work great, I listen to music and surf the web with no issues. Love the fact that I can use an SD card for more memory because my old phone only had 16GB. Only wish there were cooler cases available.

I've been wanting an Android phone for a while now, but I already had an iphone 5C. My iPhone broke for no reason and I couldn't afford $300 to replace it or the price of most high powered Android phones. I knew I wanted something with good storage space, quality camera, and something that won't run slowly. When I saw the specs and price on this phone I thought it was too good to be true. I have StraightTalk service so I just ordered a new micro Sim and had my service transferred to this new phone. I love everything about it! The battery life is wonderful. It takes very crisp and nice pictures. It runs smoothly even with multiple apps open. Has nice sounding speakers. It is very slim, which makes it easy to drop so buying a case is suggested. This phone is really simple to use and navigate. All in all, an amazing phone for the price! I recommend it to anyone under a budget for phone shopping.

Best cell phone of the year it over heats to much when playing games but for the most part it stands out a little more from the rest and the look pretty high quality for something so cheap but also has the specs to back it up this phone is pretty impressive for an 100$ Cell phone versus back 5 or 10 to 15 years ago technology never ceases to amaze me

I've had this over a year now. For the first few months it worked great and smooth, then got ever slower and slower. Camera and Google Maps are the worst - you need a LOT of patience. Also takes several minutes to start up. Getting it to connect to a computer for file transfer has gotten very unreliable too. Basically, you get what you pay for.Works fine with T-Mobile networks. Battery life is alright; it still lasts me the whole day almost always (but now I always have to charge it at night).Size and weight are super convenient - quite a large screen but still fits into a pocket.

This was promptly returned when it didn't work at all.

I buy the phone with the sim card included but i can't activate the phone because when i called to activate it they said the sim card was already activate it before but please dont investigate that because they called me they want to investigate the purchase of the sim card of the phone i bouth two weeks ago

Nice size and quite light, but the call speaker quality is really poor and the touch response time can be a bit slow at times. I also wish the homepage, return and open apps buttons at the bottom of the phone would light up so that it's easier to see them.

This phone is durable, It is made from high quality materials, the display screen is wide with high resolution and high quality 13 mega pixel rear facing camera as well as 5 mega pixel front facing camera. The product arrived on time.

Good phone for the price

My mobile data connection with the WIND network does not work.

I don't know what the problem is but after about 6 months this phone stopped working properly because of a very slow response rate.Initially it was when it was getting out of standby mode so I thought it may have been a power saver issue but now it just happens more often.It's an OK cheap phone but I think I will get a google one that has proper updates.May 5th 2017Phone is working a bit better now. -- There has been a system update and I am now using Android 6.0CPU gets very hot though
